This Bypass Gasket Johnson/Evinrude is for a 25 hp to 35 hp OMC outboard marine engine. It provides world-class sealing products and designs for Johnson/Evinrude outboard applications. If the bypass gasket becomes damaged or the bypass tube leaks due to excessive corrosion, it may cause a coolant leak. The leaky gasket would cause performance issues. The engine isn't running badly, but the lower cover lets gas oil blow fast through the gasket.
