The Trim Motor is designed specifically for use with Suzuki and a Honda. It is designed to fit Suzuki DF40/50 2001-2010 and Fits Honda 40/50HP 2002-2003. The trim motor is controlled with a toggle button on the control lever or the dash. It uses hydraulic rams to change the angle of the outboard motor or sterndrive gearcase and with the angle of the propeller shaft is relative to the boat transom, through a range of about 20 degrees. Every speed has a prime trim setting. Trimming the outboard adjusts the boat's attitude, which can help dial in the best ride by compensating for vessel load and sea conditions.
