The Vapor Separator Tank (VST) filter connects to the electric fuel pump in the Vapor Separator Tank. The vapor separator 20's principal function is to collect and release vapors emitted by the fuel. The vapor separator 20 includes a housing 22 sealing to collect liquid fuel and fuel vapors.

Sierra removes some of the difficulty in work by assembling the necessary pieces into a single kit and eliminating the time spent researching and locating separate parts. The VST filter, a 10-micron fuel filter, and a float chamber gasket are all included in the package.
